I believe that each stage of one’s life presents new challenges.

For many, these challenges can be an impetus for change and growth. For others, it can create roadblocks. Often recognizing that you are at an impasse can be the key to opening yourself up to life’s possibilities. Emotional vulnerabilities, self-doubt, circular thinking, and recurring negative and judgmental thoughts can all be overcome when one feels understood and accepted with validation, insight, and guidance. I help patients explore concerns, develop new skill sets, and implement realistic strategies for positive change in one’s life choices.

My private practice is in Sherman Oaks but I also do many sessions via Telehealth. I am the owner and the Clinical Director of New Directions, an intensive outpatient program for eating disorders. I completed my undergraduate work at New York University and then received my masters from Antioch University and my PhD from Pacifica Graduate Institute. I have been in private practice for more than twenty years and I work with adults, adolescents, couples and families. Though I specialize in the treatment of eating disorders, I work with clients who have a variety of issues from depression, anxiety and addiction to relationships issues. Every client is different and it is very important to me that I understand what you want to achieve from therapy.
