Are you so busy that you can’t get anything done?

Are you concerned you might be a busyaholic? On the outside, people see you as a successful high-achiever. But on the inside, you feel really stressed and wonder if you’re on the verge of burnout. You have no time for yourself: Your To Do list is a mile long, you have multiple inboxes that all need to be responded to right now, and you’re rushing all the time.

Maybe you find yourself numbing out with social media, binge-watching TV, eating comfort food, or any other distractions because you need a little downtime. Everyone talks about self-care, but lately it feels like it’s inconsistent at best. Besides, taking time for yourself feels selfish…

Your day-to-day feels like you’re just going through the motions. But underneath it all you have this nagging feeling that there’s something more important that you could be doing…Often you busy yourself to avoid listening to what it is you truly want. This is the silent struggle with success.

It’s not something you need to be ashamed of. You’re not alone.

I know what you’re going through – I’m a recovering busyaholic, and I’m on the other side of it now. I had to go through a complete burnout in order to turn things around, but now I can truly say that I have a life that I love, a life that’s aligned with my true desires.

I’ve talked to so many women who are in the same place as you. Corporate queens, girl bosses, domestic goddesses, devoted moms: Bold women who give their all, but find themselves overwhelmed and joyless…and afraid to say anything about it.

I know what you’re going to try to do now. This is the moment where you usually brush these thoughts aside, stuff ‘em down, think to yourself, “I shouldn’t feel this way”, but STOP. Don’t push it away. Stick with it. This feeling is important. It’s your instinct. It’s your intuition. It’s your deepest, truest, ego-less Self trying to tell you something.
